Normal Neck Curve
This image of a radiograph / X-ray shows a near normal cervical / neck curve from the side.
The red line shows the back of the bodies of the vertebral / spinal bones. The normal cervical curve is 43 degrees ideally.
Maintaining this ideal curve helps to restore and maintain function in our bodies and prevent cervical spinal degeneration.
Phase 1 VSC Pre & Post
This individual has phase 1 of Vertebral Subluxation Degeneration / VSC causing a loss of the normal cervical curve.
We applied adjustments, exercises and cervical traction to help restore some of the lost curve after 3 months.
Phase 1 VSC Pre & Post
This individual was also has phase 1 of VSC and a loss of the normal cervical curve.
This phase took 6 months to achieve it's current level of correction.
Early Phase 2 VSC Pre & Post
This phase 2 of VSC shows the early signs of bone spur formation and disc degeneration in the lower portion of the film where the circles are located. The goal of Chiropractic treatment with this case is to stop and prevent further spinal degeneration by restoring normal spinal movement and alignment.
Late Phase 2 VSC Pre & Post
This late phase 2 VSC case shows more advanced spinal degeneration due to a prolonged loss of normal spinal curvature in the cervical spine.
The circles in the lower portion of the film show large anterior / front osteophytes / bone spurs in the patient's neck.
Phase 3 VSC Pre & Post
This 53 old male came to our office suffering from many neck related problems, his x-rays showed a complete loss of the normal cervical curve and 55 mm of head forward posture, and phase III of degeneration with loss of dics height in those areas. After a year of intensive spinal correction his x-rays showed correction of 32* and 0 mm head forward posture.
Phase 1 VSC Pre & Post
This is a 9 year old male whose mother is also a patient. She brought her son in to be checked for subluxation. His x-rays showed he was already in phase I of the breakdown process of the spine. He had complete loss of the cervical curve with 30 mm of head forward posture. After two months of regular chiropractic corrective care he was back to a near normal curve.
Phase 2 VSC Pre & Post
This 40 year old male’s x-ray showed a loss of the normal cervical curve and phase II degenerative changes in the spine and discs. With regular chiropractic adjustments and cervical traction his cervical spine achieved significant improvements in alignment.
